DO you train puppy’s?
Yes, We start puppies at 18 weeks of age. State law requires all dogs to have a valid rabies vaccination before starting training. We also require all puppies to have their full set of vaccinations (D,A,P,PV,L2 OR L4). We offer group or private classes. Whether you’re having issues with potty training, puppy nipping, jumping or any other puppy problems we can help!
My dog bit someone, can you still help?
Absolutely! We specialize in rehabilitating aggressive dogs and many of the dogs we have successfully rehabilitated had bitten other dogs and/or people in the past. As long as you are willing to put in the work and effort, we CAN help you and your dog!
I don't have the time to work with my dog, can I leave him with you to be trained?
Yes and No, your dog will not successfully complete any training program if you are not there with him to learn as well. We do offer board and train programs, however, If you want to see results, at some point you will need to put forth the effort to learn how to properly handle and communicate with your dog. Remember, we don't help humans with dog problems, we help dogs with human problems!
What if i can't afford the training my dog needs?
We do offer a financing option that our clients can apply for. If you apply, and you are approved, you can begin your training ASAP! For details and to apply go to blispay.com/caninesolutions.
Are your training programs "purely positive"?
We are not purely positive. Instead, we train with a holistic, natural and balanced based approach as we believe it is the best most natural way to communicate with your dog. In most forms of dog training today, the rules of nature do not apply. We practice fair and just training techniques that will teach your dog to behave appropriately, just as they would be taught by their mother, siblings or pack leader in their natural environment. Remember, dogs cannot comprehend the human language, it is important to communicate with them on a level that they will fully understand.
I know what my dog needs, why do I need to come in for an evaluation?
Although, you may have a training program in mind, our professional trainers may see something you have not recognized. During the evaluation, our trainers will assess your dog's behavior and determine the appropriate training program to best fit the needs and goals for you and your dog.
